A twist on the epic story of Penelope and Odysseus. She loves ducks and he loves playing the trickster but will he end up being the one tricked into giving his heart away?

The Story & Gameplay

An adorable story with just one love interest but multiple endings, two ending in love and two in friendship.

I truly adore the way Odysseus admires and adores Penelope, lifting her up when she doubts herself and wanting her to be true to herself. He loves her for who she is and she does not have to change for him. Truly a wholesome, loving relationship.

🌶️ Spice Level – slightly more than light. There is a nude male figure but with a towel around his waist so not showing any bits but still a bit spicy.

Settings & Features

Settings & features include; display options, skip text options, text speed, auto-forward time, and audio controls. You can also unlock a cg gallery as you play with gorgeous cg’s and bonus material. There is also lore to unlock and lots of save files.

The Visuals & Audio

I love the artwork in this novel, the sprites are hand-drawn and (I think digitally painted) with watercolours/gouache. The backgrounds also look done in watercolours with a canvas filter applied. Either way beautifully painted and illustrated. The sprites also have small facial animations.

Odysseus is partially voiced and really well done (especially when he is flustered or caught off guard). Him blushing is cute too.

The music is a soft score of piano melodies that fit the flow of this story.

Overall Experience

I adore the writing in this novel and the relationship between Odysseus and Penelope. At one point he says to her “I do hope you’ll keep finding more reasons to keep loving me and more”. Just pull at my heartstrings! He is too adorable, and she is so kind and shy but ends up being able to be bolder with him. He is cute when he gets all flustered by her.

A great read. Loved the writing & the illustrations. I hope they do more stories like this one in the future with adorable twists to historic stories or mythology. 💗
